Todd Caponi

Founder - Sales Melon | Author 'The Transparency Sale' & 'The Transparent Sales Leader'

Todd Caponi fell into sales, then fell in love with the decision science surrounding it. He turned that into a career encompassing multiple sales leadership roles, including building the revenue capacity of one tech company from the ground-up into Chicago’s fastest-growing, another where his efforts helped drive the organization to a successful IPO followed by an acquisition worth almost $3B USD, and another where his turnaround efforts were rewarded with the American Business “Stevie” Award for Worldwide Vice President of Sales of the Year.

His first book, The Transparency Sale, has earned international best-seller status and has won three best sales book awards. His new book, The Transparent Sales Leader, just released this summer as an “Amazon Hot New Release”. He now speaks and teaches revenue organizations on leveraging transparency and decision science to maximize their revenue capacity.

He blends sales acumen with a personal passion for helping people and organisations create bigger, better and faster sales in SME businesses through to multi-national corporations. Tom trains businesses and individuals to develop stronger sales processes, generate more leads, overcome fears and negative beliefs around selling and create habits and cultures of success.

Prior to Sandler, Tom spent much of his career in materials and industrial equipment sales as part of the composites, textiles and abrasives industries. Fernando Braz

Fernando began his career working for large Portuguese companies such as Grupo José de Mello and Banco Millennium BCP, and then spent more than 11 years at Oracle, where he worked in different departments and roles, responsible for the Health sector, the director of the Core area at Oracle, leading several teams over the years.

Nuno Delgado OLY

Olympic Medalist, Judo

Distinguished with the Degree of Commander of the Order of Infante D. Henrique by President of the Republic in 2015, Nuno Delgado holds a degree in Sport Sciences by the Faculty of Human Motricity and holds a Postgraduate Degree at the University of Bath, England.

Won the 1st Olympic Medal in Judo in Portugal, worked at the European Judo Education Commission, was responsible for all the National ranks, ending as Head of the Technical Team that won the 2nd Olympic Medal of National Judo in Rio Janeiro 2016 and is currently Head Mission of Lisbon European Capital of Sport 2021.

Mentor and President of the School of Judo Nuno Delgado, pioneer in the support of nature sport, civic and artistic by the Gulbenkian Foundation, organized the Largest Judo Class in the World, linked to the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

Domingos Folque Guimarães

Digital Champion for Portugal - European Commission

Since finishing his studies at the University of London, Domingos has acquired extensive experience in the entertainment industry, having founded a book publishing house and a film production company in 2006. Serial entrepreneur has found his grounds in the digital world, setting up in 2008 Central Musical, a music live streaming platform, and in 2010 Live Content, the leading digital advertising agency in Portugal specialised in Social Media with offices in Brazil and Mexico. Live Content has been the representant of Twitter in Portugal, setting its operation in the market.

He is a renowned entrepreneur, a business angel, won the mentor of the year award at Startup Lisboa in 2015 and is a jury at the Portugal Ventures calls and Digital Champion of the European Union in Portugal. Domingos strongly believes that Social Business has changed the paradigm of entrepreneurship, with a great future ahead, a future he wants to be a part of.

With this in mind, his most recent projects are focused on education. The first one Code For All, helps reduce the unemployment rate while increasing the number of capable and available talented programmers worldwide through programming bootcamps that have a duration of 650 hours, which is divided into 14 weeks with a curriculum based on Java and JavaScript. Currently, we are in 5 cities, we have more than 500 graduates and an employability rate of 96%.

Jenna Pipchuk

Jenna Pipchuk is the Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer of SMART Technologies and leads the company’s sales and customer experience globally. She also oversees the information systems and data departments that drive SMART's customer-centric, data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Joining SMART in 2007, Jenna has more than 25 years of experience in technology.

She began her career in Product Management, where she developed and implemented product strategies for bringing successful software products to market. Jenna is known for transparent leadership and for building great teams. She has proven expertise in leading cultural transformation, as documented in the February 2022 article in the Harvard Business Review, “Traditional B2B Sales and Marketing Are Becoming Obsolete”.

Jenna is leading the modernization of sales and marketing with the Unified Commercial Engine, an example of transforming outmoded practices to adapt to a completely new world of B2B buying. Jenna holds a BSc in E-commerce from the University of Phoenix.

Jeff Lowe

EVP, CMO - Smart Technologies

Jeff Lowe is Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer & Chief Human Resources Officer of SMART Technologies and is responsible for external brand strategy, marketing, communications, human resources and facilities. He joined SMART in 2012 and has more than 30 years of experience at global brands including IBM and TELUS, along with agency experience where he consulted on marketing strategy and planning across many industries.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of Calgary. Jeff has a passion for people and culture and has been a leader in the transformation of SMART’s engagement success story. In the last 3 years SMART’s engagement has moved from 45% to 89% and employee retention is 85%.

A key accomplishment of this transformation has been to be a key leader in our Organizational Performance and Health Committees – which includes the Communication and Transparency Team, Growth & Development Team, Vision, Values and Behaviours Team and Strategic Focus Team. Jeff brings a diverse approach to leadership, advocating for both right-and-left-brain approaches - merging scientific data, analytics and ROI with emotion and authentic stories of success.

Gonçalo Serrenho
